DUCT PIPE
1.Product Overview
Prestressed corrugated pipes are a key material used in post-tensioned prestressed engineering to form the prestressing tendon ducts. They are
pre-embedded in
concrete, providing a channel for subsequent strand threading, tensioning, and grouting. We offer two main products: galvanized metal
corrugated pipes and
HDPE (plastic) corrugated pipes, to comprehensively meet the diverse needs of different engineering conditions regarding wear resistance,
corrosion resistance,
flexibility, and cost-effectiveness.
2.Product Comparison and Selection Guide
When choosing corrugated pipes, galvanized corrugated pipes and plastic corrugated pipes offer solutions for different engineering
requirements. Galvanized
corrugated pipes are manufactured using high-quality galvanized steel strips, and their core advantages lie in their extremely high rigidity
and excellent wear
resistance, effectively resisting deformation under pressure during construction and ensuring the stability of the duct shape. Their good
high-temperature resistance
makes them suitable for conventional industrial and bridge construction. If you prioritize ultimate corrosion resistance and easier construction,
then HDPE (plastic)
corrugated pipes are a wiser choice. Made of high-density polyethylene, it boasts excellent resistance to chloride salts, acids, and alkalis, and
never rusts, making it
particularly suitable for harsh environments such as cross-sea bridges and water conservancy projects. Its lightweight and flexible characteristics
make it easier to lay
complex curves, and heat fusion connections ensure perfect joint seals. Simply put, for most conventional and cost-sensitive projects, galvanized
corrugated pipes
are an economical and reliable choice; while for projects facing severe corrosion challenges or with extremely high requirements for structural
durability, plastic
corrugated pipes offer longer-lasting protection and superior life-cycle value.
3.Main Application Areas
Galvanized Corrugated Pipes: Large bridges, industrial plants, public buildings, railway sleepers, etc.
Plastic Corrugated Pipes:Cross-sea bridges, coastal buildings, water conservancy projects, sewage treatment plants, saline-alkali land projects, rock and soil anchoring,
and other
corrosive environments, as well as large-curvature beams with low requirements for the coefficient of friction in hole formation.
