What precast prestressing demands from the strand

Diameter and grade matching the mould
The strand must match the anchorage, the mould geometry and the approved stressing equipment. A diameter substitution is a system change, not a like-for-like swap.

Precast plants file test records against the elements they cast. The mill test certificate has to be traceable to the delivered coils so that record can be completed.
